News   •   Domain has received planning permission in Winchester to build 382 rooms. The scheme will be completed for the start of the 2010 academic year. University of Winchester have agreed a long term lease for the entire scheme.

Can I choose who I live with?

Rooms are allocated on the following basis:

1. Room type ( Single or Premium)
2. Contract length
3. Gender
4. Year of study
5. Other preferences

Domain endeavours to allocate students to flats that are appropriate to their situation. All female flats are available and wherever possible we do not allocate females to ground floor flats. In most cases we will ensure your flatmates will be in a similar situation to you, for example all first years, or International students from the same area. This will help new students to meet people and feel more comfortable in their new flat.

There is a space on the application to state any preferences you may have as well with whom you would like to live. We will try to provide them where possible but Domain can make no guarantees and all allocations are subject to availability.
